Player Models/skins

Post by FLATLINE » Wed Jul 18, 2018 5:34 pm

You might notice a players skin/model be a little Gordon "mini size"

Now the hit spot for small models are the same as the normal ones. naturally you shoot the mini gordon low which is a leg hit
which mean you have to shot them more in the leg to kill them. if you aim just above the head of the mini gordon you would be
hitting the chest area.

If it gets to annoy you You can fix this by removing the model/skin from your game file system

if you go to steam/steamapps/common/Half-Life/valve_downloads/models/player and locate that skin, and delete it

Now that you deleted it and you go but to the game you should see the normal default orange Helmet skin. do this for every skin
that is difficult to play with and annoying. LOL

YES BOTS only uploads the skins of the bots which is
hgrunt which is a Half-Life default skin

if you can't find the model let me know the players game play and I can watch for that player and find out which model they are using and let you know.
Or simple ask them nicely like "Man cool model you are using, whats the name of it so I can go download it" ..............get the info

Thank you

I love those anime models with the big, shootable heads.
I know, I know technically it doesn't make the head hit boxes bigger, but it still seems to make my job easier.
There used to be a Jesus skin too back in the day that was pretty cool.
